| What is SCRIP? |
| A means to give to FBS as a part of your regular shopping! The SCRIP program allows PTF to purchase gift cards for local vendors at a discounted rate. The gift cards are sold to you at face value generating a profit for the FBS PTF fund. Vendors include commonly used grocery stores, gas stations, retail stores, and restaurants.

| What are these funds used for? |
| The use of these funds is approved by votes taken at regular PTF meetings throughout the year. Your presence at these meetings gives you a say in the use of these funds. Recent expenditures have included a security camera system, classroom resources, science equipment, and hand bells. |
| How does the program work? |
| Plan ahead! Place an order for any upcoming purchases you may have (gifts, groceries, gas, clothing, dining out, ...). Simply follow the steps to complete and submit the online SCRIP order form. Upon receipt of payment, the gift cards will be sent to you via the method chosen on the order form. |
| How soon will my order be available? |
| The most frequently used gift cards are kept on hand and will be sent to you immediately upon receipt of payment. Less frequently used gift cards are not kept on hand. SCRIP orders are placed each Tuesday and the gift cards are generally available by the following Friday.

| Steps to complete and submit your SCRIP order: |
- Complete the online SCRIP Order Form. Provide your name and email address. Also indicate the date needed and the delivery method (send home with student, office pick up, or Wednesday night church pick up). Indicate quantity in the box beside each gift card you wish to order.
- Click Prepare My Order once you have completed the order form. The system will prepare your order by summarizing your purchases and calculating the total amount due.
- Review your order. If changes are needed, use your browser's back button to return to the order form and revise your order.
- Select Confirm My Order and Deliver to FBS to notify the SCRIP coordinator of your order.
- Print your order summary. The Print My Order button will provide a printer-friendly view of your order, from which you can print.
- Prepare a check for the Order Total amount (write check to FBS SCRIP) and remit payment with a copy of your order summary by mail or with your student.
Upon receipt of payment, your gift cards will be delivered in the method selected. Then enjoy your shopping knowing that a percentage of your expenditures have gone to FBS!
It's as simple as that to give to FBS as a part of your regular shopping!
