The admissions procedure begins with a time to come and meet with either Mr. Scott Cain, the elementary administrator, or Dr. Charlie Graves, the secondary administrator. Elementary is K3 through the 5th grade and the secondary is 6th grade through the 12th grade.
Realizing that attending FBS is a privilege and not a right, an interview with the administrator is required of each student along with their parent or guardian. The purpose is to present the school’s philosophy and to give the parent/guardian a better understanding of the basis for Christian education. Students enrolling in grades 6th through 12th are also required to meet with our senior pastor, who also serves as the superintendent of the school. We also require a reference form from the student’s pastor.
During the school year, we encourage your son or daughter to attend school for a day, oftentimes called shadowing. We will place a classmate with your child for the day. Shadowing gives new students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with our students, staff and the classroom environment at our school.
General academic screening tests are administered for all students entering First Baptist School from the 2nd grade through the 12th grade. These tests determine the student’s achievement level. Admission is not complete until all the necessary forms including transcripts from the previous school verify their academic status.

A $200 discount is given to a family responsible for recruiting another family (K3-12th, must be 5-day students, and student(s) must be enrolled entire school year.) This amount is deducted from the May tuition bill.
If a family enrolls more than one 5-day student (K3-12th), a 10% discount is given after the first child pays full tuition.
5th Child Free
If a family enrolls at least five children as five-day students (K3-12th), the 5th child’s (and any additional) tuition is free.
Early Pay in Full
A 3% discount is given if tuition is paid in full by September 1st.

All preschool and elementary students are required to keep tennis shoes in the classroom for gym use only.
When browsing the on-line catalog, identify your school as First Baptist of Rosemount. Uniform standards differ for Middle School and High School students, therefore when browsing or ordering on-line, verify the grade identified is the correct grade for your student.
Girls and boys in grades 6-10 are required to purchase and dress in the school’s specified gym uniform for P.E. and after school athletics. Forms are provided by the P.E. instructor at the beginning of the school year to order the required gym uniform.
¹Registration fees include workbooks, one yearbook per student (K5-12th), textbooks, association dues, student insurance, and miscellaneous supplies. Other fees may also be due depending upon participation (e.g. athletics, computer, P.E., uniform, etc.)
Tuition payments are due the first of each month. A $20 late fee is charged after the tenth of the month.
Tuition payments begin August 1 and are paid through May 1.
Students will not be allowed to return to school if the tuition payments are over thirty days past due.
Students enrolling after the school year has begun will pay one month’s tuition and fees in advance.
